The Stars enter the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs as the only team with a negative goal differential on the season. If that is the case, they will likely turn to David Rittich, who has struggled immensely the past two seasons. Juuse Saros is one of the best in the business, but he may not be available at all in the opening round, as there have been reports that he is dealing with a high-ankle sprain.
